How to find other gay men in Nigeria

Image
TL;DR : Grindr is a GPS-powered mobile-chat application that works in Nigeria esp. Lagos!!! It locates and shows you other gay men using the app around you, from the closest to the farthest. Getting a booty call has never been easier for gay folks in this nigger land. Quick steps: Buy an android phone (dunno, don't care which other platforms the app exists on); Set-up internet data on your phone; Download  Grindr  from the Play Store; You are good to go... Be witty, not boring Warning! Warning!! Warning!!! Leave the insanely hot profile picture guys alone. You're most likely to get snubbed, except maybe you're one of the insanely hot guys too. *going to get my own hot body too* #isuckatwooinghotguys or are hot guys just all unbearably boring?

All time most catastrophic career bloopers

More than A little background I work at a Software company which provides software solutions to financial institutions, with Nigerian commercial banks as its most relevant customer base. My job there is as an application support personnel. It's a pretty interesting role, in that it allows me to exercise my people (customer) facing skills, while not totally pulling me out of doing techie stuff. Since the 1+ year I've been there, I've been in charge of an enterprise application which is in use at about 10 commercial banks. The application allows the banks offer online payment collection services  to website owners a.k.a. merchants. It was turbulent in this role for the first few months, but as the say, adversity breeds  strength. So, right now, I'm the one to talk to when: The application crashes and is either partially or fully defunct; A new merchant is having technical issues, setting up their website to accept payments through the application; The bank needs a...

Two weeks on Grindr

Two  Saturdays ago, after spending the better part of my day doing random stuff on the web, it occurred to me to do something about my barren love/sex life. A few weeks before then, I'd relayed my sorrows to Archie, my long term gay friend, in a chat. That was when I heard about the apps: Grindr and Manjam. I remember having seen Grindr featured in some Hollywood movie I watched earlier this year too. Anyway, I ended up downloading Grindr and Hornet, to my phone. Below is a list of my experiences and opinions so far on the hookup applications (hope no one's peeking over my shoulders, I'm at the office): Grindr is much more active than Hornet , which is probably an indication that it's more popular with guys around here.

Upward Spiral

I'm just so happy with my life these days. I'm glad that I have made conscious decisions and taken efforts to make myself a better person, to improve the quality of my life. Top on the list is my decision to quit PMO. Several times before, I had read testimonies from guys who say their confidence sky-rocketed after quitting masturbation to porn. But since my brain was too addicted to the dopamine of porn-induced orgasm, I just told myself that these guys were probably just bullshitting. Little did I know. About six weeks ago though, for the following reasons, I decided to try it out, when after a PMO session, I happened upon some anti-PMO webpage. I took this plunge for the following reasons:

No girl, No Love

Whilst browsing through Dealdey's deals today, I saw one deal which is so interesting that I strongly considered going for it. The deal offers a discount on a full day at Omu resort in Ajah (Lagos outskirts). From the pictures presented, the place looks like one at which I could have a really fulfilling fun day. A wide range of beautiful and thrilling attractions could be made out from the pictures on the deal's slideshow. The next thought that came to mind was then: "Who do I go with"? A few options came to mind and I considered the following options.
